Hi, I’m
Laura
I teach, consult, and give talks — all about Excel. I’ve been a Microsoft MVP since 2025. I believe one thing: Excel can do more. And it can be beautiful.
THE STORY
How Excel changed my
journey
I studied finance — math had always been my thing. Numbers make sense. Until my first job as a Data Analyst, when I sat in front of a screen full of Excel spreadsheets and realized: everything was manual. For hours. Every week.
And I asked myself: why do we spend hours on things a tool could do in seconds?
I wanted to change that. So I started asking questions, experimenting, and automating. It quickly became clear that there was a much better way. Faster. Smarter.
The answer was automation. And it changed everything.
What I learned along the way: Excel isn’t the problem.
The way it’s built and used — that’s the problem.
Too technical, too confusing, and too far removed from the everyday reality of the people who have to work with it.
That’s why I build solutions that don’t just work, but are genuinely enjoyable to use. Clearly structured, thoughtfully visualized, even beautiful. A dashboard that gives you answers at a glance. A tool the team opens without sighing. To me, that’s not a bonus — it’s the actual job.
And at some point, I knew: I wanted to share what I’d learned. I don’t explain Excel like a manual — I teach it the way I would have wanted to learn it myself. Visually, clearly, with real examples that make sense. No grey grid. No dry theory. Excel you understand — and enjoy opening.
Today, I’m a Microsoft MVP for Excel, speak at conferences in London, Milan, and Munich, and founded the first German-speaking Excel & Power BI community in the DACH region. More than 1,000 people have learned Excel with me.
Excel isn’t just my job —
it’s my passion.
